Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Residential Site in Boston MA Wednesday 4 PM - 12 AM AND Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 3 PM - 11 PM Starting Pay is $21.25 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or public emergency responders as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vendor presence in accordance with property protocols, assisting with entry procedures and reporting concerns related to property rules and/or unauthorized access.Support daily operations by completing routine reports, maintaining visible presence throughout the location, and communicating professionally with tenants, guests, and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
