About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor access in accordance with site procedures, and provide directions or assistance to individuals at the location.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Wednesday: 05:30 AM - 05:00 PM
- Thursday: 05:30 AM - 05:00 PM
