Security Officer Refinery

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. This is a driving post, with responsibilities that may include mobile patrols across the location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties appropriate to an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through proper communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor assigned posts and support emergency response activities when appropriate, including following post orders and documenting incidents, observations, and/or policy-related issues.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
