Schedule

• Part Time
• Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen persons, packages, and deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with site policies; verify credentials, visitor authorization, and permitted items before allowing access.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and access control activity; document observations, discrepancies, and security-related incidents in required reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, access points, and surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
