Responsibilities
- Police hospital facilities.
- Provide security checks at the front entrance, detaining and questioning as needed.
- Respond to fire alerts.
- Monitor closed‑circuit television (CCTV) systems.
- Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
Requirements
- Previous law‑enforcement experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home setting.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Current NYS Security Officer License.
- 8‑hour Annual Security Guard Training Certificate and initial 16‑hour on‑the‑job Security Guard Training Certificate.
- NY S Driver’s License.
- BCLS certification via the American Heart Association.
- Knowledge of CCTV and radio communications.
Pay
$31.24 per hour
