Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the building interior, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and/or policy violations at the location.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies.
• Knowledge of security procedures and site-specific policies.
