About the Role

As a Security Officer Property Protection in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional at a dynamic technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entry points, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• CPR certification.
• Customer service experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license.

$18.69 / Hour

• Friday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
