Security Officer Property Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Property Patrol in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This role provides exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional responses to site needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver entry requirements, and maintain accurate logs of arrivals, departures, and security-related incidents.
• Observe shipping and receiving areas for unusual activity, report potential hazards or policy concerns, and support orderly traffic flow for personnel and commercial vehicles.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
