Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Cambridge MA Monday - Friday 3 PM - 11 PM Starting Pay is $22.05 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and report policy violations, hazards, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control, badge checks, and routine site operations while following post orders, maintaining detailed activity logs, and assisting with security-related response procedures during medical and/or facility emergencies.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
