About the Role
As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol with Active Clearance in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and values innovative thinking.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support established screening and access control practices.
- Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and relay observations about facility conditions, policy violations, and/or security-related issues to site leadership.
Qualifications
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Schedule: Day time; Monday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Friday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Saturday 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sunday 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
