Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and noting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assisting with visitor direction, entry procedures, and other security-related support functions within the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Preferred to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Preferred to be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Day Time, Monday through Thursday, 04:00 PM – 12:30 AM
