As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in China, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and document observations while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations according to site procedures.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of changing site conditions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.91 per hour

Schedule

Full-time. Day shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Friday — 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
