Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in an educational setting.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with students, staff, visitors, and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and campus activity, report maintenance concerns and/or policy violations, and document security-related incidents according to Allied Universal guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
