About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Vehicle Driver in East Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This part-time, unarmed role involves conducting routine patrols, monitoring assigned areas, supporting access control, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

$21.25 / Hour

Schedule

• Part-Time
• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
