Security Officer Patrol Unit

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Unit in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Guard card and/or license.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
• Customer service experience.
