Security Officer Patrol Unit

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and/or other assigned areas for security-related concerns, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and location personnel by documenting incidents, providing directions and assistance, and following post orders and healthcare-related policies.

Requirements

• Vaccination is required for this hospital assignment.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
