About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Huntsville, AL. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with personnel and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization as directed, and report access concerns or policy violations to site leadership and/or the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports and logs.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.60 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday shifts available
