Security Officer Patrol Specialist Pharmaceutical Facility

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Swiftwater, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and provide exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare-related facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, report observations and incidents promptly, and respond to critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Support controlled access procedures by verifying credentials as directed, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have access control and badge experience.
• Hold CPR and First Aid certification.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Security Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience. This includes, but is not limited to, roles in security management, loss prevention, or related fields.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets, including familiarity with basic software applications, internet navigation, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Access Control/Badge Experience: Candidates should have experience with access control systems and badge management, ensuring security protocols are followed.
