Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Security Rounds in Dorchester, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.32 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document relevant activity in accordance with site procedures.Report observed hazards, equipment concerns, and unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
