As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Risk Recognition in Jersey City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with badge checks, visitor sign-in processes, and/or directions as assigned.
- Report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
