About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Whitsett, NC, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet tools as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes.
• Maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders while completing required daily activity reports and incident documentation.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
