Security Officer Patrol Response

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic government transit location. This role involves providing customer service, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and assisting with security-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit platforms, stations, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe public areas, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
• Assist with directing foot traffic, answering general questions, and documenting daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Skills

• Experience in security-related roles.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Pepper spray certification.
• Guard card/license.
