As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transit location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for passengers, employees, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or public emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, assist with directing visitors, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to designated personnel.
