About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Manchester, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to airport visitors, employees, contractors, and/or government personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned airport facilities, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and report concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe personnel, vehicles, and visitors entering or exiting assigned areas in accordance with established procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or emergency responders.
Requirements
- A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
