Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to questions or concerns professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
• Support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while responding to security-related concerns in alignment with Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative values.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
