About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Cookeville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine observations and timely reporting.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity to site contacts and/or supervisors.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Friday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
