About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Bristol, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
