About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Bristol, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

  • Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$15.45 / Hour

  • Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
