What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store personnel and/or management.
- Complete required reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements
- Preferred ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
