Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical processing location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
  • Follow location-specific requirements for working around industrial operations, including required personal protective equipment and restricted-area protocols.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
