Security Officer Patrol Reporting

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Reporting in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related needs with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare laboratory setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of laboratory facilities, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and employee access procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift
• Pay Rate: $22.39 / Hour
• Schedule: Monday 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM, Tuesday 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM, Friday 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM, Saturday 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM, Sunday 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM
