Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and report security-related issues involving restricted areas, property, and/or personnel.
• Support site operations by observing for maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other conditions that may impact daily activity, and communicate findings through required reports and/or logs.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
