About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or first responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to verify authorized entry and/or report unauthorized persons, suspicious behavior, or property concerns.
- Complete routine reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or resident interactions in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site expectations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
