Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor for unusual conditions, damaged property, or potential hazards and promptly report observations through established communication channels.Control access to designated areas by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
