$16.38 / Hour

Job Schedule

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related issues to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete accurate incident reports as required.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel and the public while following post orders, operational protocols, and reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
