About the role
Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with site expectations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for designated areas, while following visitor, delivery, and/or contractor access protocols.
- Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed regarding security-related concerns, alarms, incidents, and changing conditions at the location.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
