About the Role

As a Security Officer Patrol Government in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents, and fostering a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by executing security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions by client site.

Requirements

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid) preferred.

Skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and solve problems in critical situations.
• Proficiency with computers or tablets preferred.

Pay

Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

Schedule

Full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week. The specific schedule will be determined during the hiring, onboarding, and training process, based on business needs.
