Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the banking location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Support opening and closing routines, assist with escort requests when appropriate, and complete required reports related to daily activities, incidents, and/or observed conditions.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
