Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, maintaining post records, and sharing timely updates with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
