Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas, with attention to access points, equipment areas, and other sensitive locations common to a food and beverage environment.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance or sanitation concerns that may impact site operations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
