Security Officer Patrol Driver School Campus

About the role

As a Security Officer-Patrol Driver at an educational arts location in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services when required
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and observed conditions

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
• At least one year of security-related experience
• At least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

• Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift
• Monday: 01:30 PM – 09:30 PM
• Tuesday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 01:30 PM – 09:30 PM
• Thursday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

$21.00 / Hour
