What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and/or local public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic public areas, assisting with directional information, policy reminders, and observation of suspicious behavior or unattended items.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and following government location protocols related to incidents, public interaction, and/or escalated concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
