Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Position in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity every day.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, badge access activity, and visitor processing while assisting with security-related procedures for a fast-paced technology location.
• Support incident reporting, policy enforcement, and after-hours building checks in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client site expectations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
