Security Officer - Patrol Driver Overnights

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and designated access points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Monitor access to authorized areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
- Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
