Security Officer Patrol Driver Experience Required
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe site activity to support authorized entry, report suspicious behavior, and follow post orders related to property protection and incident response.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
