Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Retail/Malls, you will also contribute to a culture that positively impacts the communities and customers we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout common areas, storefront exteriors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and/or other assigned locations to help support access control practices and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance-related issues.
• Support a professional presence at the location by following post orders, assisting with customer inquiries, and/or helping to de-escalate conflicts when appropriate.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
