Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Altavasta, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assist with visitor and/or vendor access procedures, and document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required reports.
- Support a professional environment by providing directions, answering questions, and following post orders related to healthcare operations, patient privacy considerations, and security-related protocols.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
