Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and report concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Assist with access control, closing procedures, crowd flow, and/or other security-related support functions during busy business periods and special events.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
