About the Role
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with school personnel and first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas during school hours and after-hours activities, helping to verify authorized access and directing visitors in accordance with site procedures.
- Support daily campus operations by reporting maintenance concerns, assisting with traffic and pedestrian flow during arrival and dismissal, and following Allied Universal reporting protocols for security-related events.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
