About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in East Syracuse, NY, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Pay

$18.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday
