Security Officer Patrol Coordinator

As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assisting with access control processes and reporting maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related concerns.
- Support Allied Universal standards by following post orders, remaining visible throughout the location, and providing courteous assistance during routine operations and after-hours activity.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
